27:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

27:1 Hierauf gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:

27:2 Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them: The man that shall have made a vow, and promised his soul to God, shall give the price according to estimation.

27:2 »Teile den Israeliten folgende Verordnungen mit: Wenn jemand dem HERRN ein besonderes Gelübde erfüllen will, und zwar in betreff von Personen nach dem Schätzungswert,

27:3 If it be a man from twenty years old unto sixty years old, he shall give fifty sicles of silver, after the weight of the sanctuary:

27:3 so soll der Schätzungswert einer männlichen Person im Alter von zwanzig bis zu sechzig Jahren fünfzig Silberschekel nach dem Gewicht des Heiligtums betragen;

27:4 If a woman, thirty.

27:4 ist es aber eine weibliche Person, so soll der Schätzungswert dreißig Schekel betragen.

27:5 But from the fifth year until the twentieth, a man shall give twenty sicles: a woman ten.

27:5 Wenn es sich aber um eine Person im Alter von fünf bis zu zwanzig Jahren handelt, so soll der Schätzungswert einer männlichen Person zwanzig Schekel und bei einer weiblichen Person zehn Schekel betragen.

27:6 From one month until the fifth year, for a male shall be given five sicles: for a female three.

27:6 Bei Kindern aber im Alter von einem Monat bis zu fünf Jahren soll der Schätzungswert eines Knaben fünf Silberschekel und der Schätzungswert eines Mädchens drei Silberschekel betragen.

27:7 A man that is sixty years old or upward, shall give fifteen sicles: a woman ten.

27:7 Wenn ferner die Person sechzig Jahre alt ist oder darüber, so soll der Schätzungswert, wenn es sich um einen Mann handelt, fünfzehn Schekel betragen, bei einer weiblichen Person dagegen zehn Schekel.

27:8 If he be poor, and not able to pay the estimation, he shall stand before the priest: and as much as he shall value him at, and see him able to pay, so much shall he give.

27:8 Ist der Betreffende aber für die Entrichtung dieses Schätzungswertes zu arm, so stelle man ihn vor den Priester, damit dieser ihn abschätze; nach Maßgabe dessen, was der Gelobende zu leisten vermag, soll der Priester ihn abschätzen.

27:9 But a beast that may be sacrificed to the Lord, if any one shall vow, shall be holy,

27:9 Handelt es sich ferner um Vieh, von dem man dem HERRN eine Opfergabe darbringen kann, so soll jedes Stück, das man von solchem Vieh dem HERRN gibt, als geheiligt gelten:

27:10 And cannot be changed: that is to say, neither a better for a worse, nor a worse for a better. And if he shall change it: both that which was changed, and that for which it was changed, shall be consecrated to the Lord.

27:10 man darf es nicht umwechseln noch vertauschen, weder ein gutes Stück gegen ein schlechtes noch ein schlechtes Stück gegen ein gutes; und wenn jemand dennoch ein Stück Vieh gegen ein anderes vertauscht, so soll sowohl jenes als auch das eingetauschte dem Heiligtum verfallen sein.

27:11 An unclean beast, which cannot be sacrificed to the Lord, if any man shall vow, shall be brought before the priest:

27:11 Handelt es sich aber um irgendein Stück unreinen Viehes, von dem man dem HERRN keine Opfergabe darbringen kann, so stelle man das betreffende Stück Vieh vor den Priester;

27:12 Who judging whether it be good or bad, shall set the price.

27:12 dieser soll es dann abschätzen, je nachdem es gut oder schlecht ist; bei der Abschätzung des Priesters soll es dann sein Bewenden haben.

27:13 Which, if he that offereth it will give, he shall add above the estimation the fifth part.

27:13 Will der Betreffende es aber einlösen, so hat er noch ein Fünftel zu dem Schätzungswert hinzuzufügen.

27:14 If a man shall vow his house, and sanctify it to the Lord, the priest shall consider it, whether it be good or bad: and it shall be sold according to the price, which he shall appoint.

27:14 Wenn ferner jemand sein Haus als heilige Gabe dem HERRN weiht, so soll der Priester es abschätzen, je nachdem es gut oder schlecht ist; wie der Priester es abschätzt, so soll der Wert festgesetzt sein.

27:15 But if he that vowed, will redeem it, he shall give the fifth part of the estimation over and above: and shall have the house.

27:15 Wenn dann der, welcher sein Haus geweiht hat, es wieder einlösen will, so hat er noch ein Fünftel des Betrags zu dem Schätzungswert hinzuzufügen: dann bleibt es sein Eigentum.

27:16 And if he vow the field of his possession, and consecrate it to the Lord, the price shall be rated according to the measure of the seed. If the ground be sown with thirty bushels of barley, let it be sold for fifty sicles of silver.

27:16 Wenn ferner jemand ein Stück von seinem ererbten Grundbesitz dem HERRN weiht, so soll sich der Schätzungswert nach dem Maß der dafür erforderlichen Aussaat richten: ein Homer Gerste Aussaat soll zu fünfzig Silberschekel gerechnet werden.

27:17 If he vow his field immediately from the year of jubilee that is beginning: as much as it may be worth, at so much it shall be rated.

27:17 Wenn der Betreffende sein Stück Land vom Halljahr ab weiht, so soll es nach dem vollen Schätzungswert zu stehen kommen;

27:18 But if some time after, the priest shall reckon the money according to the number of years that remain until the jubilee, and the price shall be abated.

27:18 wenn er aber sein Stück Land erst nach dem Halljahr weiht, so soll der Priester ihm den Geldbetrag mit Rücksicht auf die Zahl der Jahre berechnen, die bis zum (nächsten) Halljahr noch ausstehen, so daß also von dem Schätzungswert ein verhältnismäßiger Abzug gemacht wird.

27:19 And if he that had vowed, will redeem his field, he shall add the fifth part of the money of the estimation, and shall possess it.

27:19 Will aber der, welcher das Stück Land geweiht hat, es wieder einlösen, so hat er noch ein Fünftel des Betrages zu dem Schätzungswert hinzuzufügen: dann soll es ihm verbleiben.

27:20 And if he will not redeem it, but it be sold to any other man, he that vowed it, may not redeem it any more.

27:20 Hat er aber das Stück Land nicht eingelöst, und er verkauft es trotzdem an einen andern, so kann es nicht mehr eingelöst werden,

27:21 For when the day of jubilee cometh, it shall be sanctified to the Lord, and as a possession consecrated, pertaineth to the right of the priest.

27:21 sondern das Stück Land soll, wenn es im Halljahr frei wird, als dem HERRN geweiht gelten wie ein mit dem Bann belegtes Stück Land: es soll dem Priester als Eigentum gehören.

27:22 If a field that was bought, and not of a man's ancestors' possession, be sanctified to the Lord:

27:22 Wenn ferner jemand ein von ihm gekauftes Stück Land, das nicht zu seinem ererbten Grundbesitz gehört, dem HERRN weiht,

27:23 The priest shall reckon the price according to the number of years, unto the jubilee. And he that had vowed, shall give that to the Lord.

27:23 so soll ihm der Priester den Betrag des Schätzungswertes bis zum (nächsten) Halljahr berechnen, und der Betreffende soll diese Schätzungssumme an demselben Tage als eine dem HERRN geweihte Gabe entrichten.

27:24 But in the jubilee, it shall return to the former owner, who had sold it, and had it in the lot of his possession.

27:24 Im Halljahr aber soll das Stück Land wieder an den zurückfallen, von dem er es gekauft hatte, also an den, welchem das Landstück als Erbbesitz zusteht.

27:25 All estimation shall be made according to the sicle of the sanctuary. A sicle hath twenty obols.

27:25 Jede (priesterliche) Schätzung aber soll nach dem Schekel des Heiligtums erfolgen: der Schekel gilt zwanzig Gera.«

27:26 The firstborn, which belong to the Lord, no man may sanctify and vow: whether it be bullock, or sheep, they are the Lord's.

27:26 »Jedoch die Erstlinge vom Vieh, die als Erstgeburten dem HERRN an sich schon zustehen, darf niemand weihen; sei es ein Rind oder ein Stück Kleinvieh: es gehört dem HERRN.

27:27 And if it be an unclean beast, he that offereth it shall redeem it, according to thy estimation, and shall add the fifth part of the price. If he will not redeem it, it shall be sold to another for how much soever it was estimated by thee.

27:27 Wenn es sich aber um eine Erstgeburt von einem unreinen Haustier handelt, so muß der Betreffende sie nach dem Schätzungswert lösen und noch ein Fünftel des Betrags hinzufügen. Wird sie aber nicht gelöst, so soll sie nach dem Schätzungswert verkauft werden.«

27:28 Any thing that is devoted to the Lord, whether it be man, or beast, or field, shall not be sold: neither may it be redeemed. Whatsoever is once consecrated shall be holy of holies to the Lord.

27:28 »Jedoch alles mit dem Bann Belegte, das jemand von seinem gesamten Besitz dem HERRN mittels des Bannes weiht, es seien Menschen oder Vieh oder Stücke von seinem ererbten Grundbesitz, darf weder verkauft noch eingelöst werden: alles Gebannte ist dem HERRN hochheilig.

27:29 And any consecration that is offered by man, shall not be redeemed, but dying shall die.

27:29 Handelt es sich dabei um Menschen, die mit dem Bann belegt sind, so dürfen sie nicht losgekauft, sondern müssen unbedingt getötet werden.«

27:30 All tithes of the land, whether of corn, or of the fruits of trees, are the Lord's, and are sanctified to him.

27:30 »Ferner sollen alle Zehnten des Landes, vom Saatertrag des Feldes wie von den Früchten der Bäume, dem HERRN gehören: sie sind dem HERRN geweiht.

27:31 And if any man will redeem his tithes, he shall add the fifth part of them.

27:31 Wenn aber jemand einen Teil von seinem Zehnten einlösen will, so hat er ein Fünftel des Betrags mehr zu bezahlen.

27:32 Of all the tithes of oxen, and sheep, and goats, that pass under the shepherd's rod, every tenth that cometh shall be sanctified to the Lord.

27:32 Was ferner allen Zehnten von Rindern und vom Kleinvieh betrifft, so soll von allen Tieren, die unter dem Hirtenstabe hindurchgehen, immer das zehnte Stück dem HERRN geheiligt sein.

27:33 It shall not be chosen neither good nor bad, neither shall it be changed for another. If any man change it: both that which was changed, and that for which it was changed, shall be sanctified to the Lord, and shall not be redeemed.

27:33 Man soll dabei nicht untersuchen, ob es gut oder schlecht sei, und man darf es auch nicht vertauschen; wenn man es aber doch vertauscht, so soll sowohl das betreffende als auch das eingetauschte Tier dem Heiligtum verfallen sein und darf nicht gelöst werden.«

27:34 These are the precepts which the Lord commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

27:34 Dies sind die Gebote, die der HERR dem Mose auf dem Berge Sinai für die Israeliten aufgetragen hat.
